Studio Rules and Rental Terms

These Rules define the conditions for renting the photo studio GolD.Y.S photo studio (hereinafter the Studio), located at Opole, ul. Niemodlińska 75.

The Lessor and operating entity is Goldys Photo Studio Sofiia Holovko, tax ID NIP: 7543387633, REGON: 545617796, tel.: +48 784 618 957, e-mail: info@goldys.pl (hereinafter the Lessor).

The Renter is any adult individual with full legal capacity, or a legal entity/organization that has submitted a booking request and received confirmation from the Studio (hereinafter the Renter).

The primary purpose of the Studio is conducting photoshoots, video recordings, and film production. In addition, the studio can be rented for other agreed purposes: meetings, workshops, presentations, exhibitions, etc.

The Studio rents out space together with lighting gear and studio equipment (studio strobes, light modifiers, stands, backdrops). Upon separate request and agreement, assistant or photographer services may be provided.

Bookings are made via the online form on the Studio website or directly with the administrator. Submitting through the website constitutes a preliminary reservation enquiry.

The Studio administration reviews the request and confirms slot availability within up to 2 hours.

Upon confirmation, the Renter receives a message (SMS/email) with a secure online payment link via the Przelewy24 system (BLIK, payment cards, fast bank transfers).

The booking becomes final and binding upon confirmation by the Studio and 100% payment of the rental fee. The payment deadline depends on the time remaining until the scheduled session: a) Standard bookings (more than 48 hours prior to start): payment must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation by the Studio. b) Short-notice bookings (between 4 and 48 hours prior to start): payment must be completed no later than 2 hours before the session start time. c) Express and same-day bookings (less than 4 hours prior to start): payment must be completed within 30 minutes of confirmation and no later than 15 minutes before the session starts.

If payment is not received within the specified deadline (48 hours or express deadline), the booking is automatically cancelled by the system (auto-expiry). The reserved time slot is immediately released back to the public booking calendar, and any hours deducted from a subscription pass are automatically refunded to the Renter’s balance.

The minimum booking duration is 1 hour (60 minutes). The booking increment is 1 hour.

All prices stated on the Studio website and price list are gross amounts in Polish Zloty (PLN). The Lessor benefits from subjective VAT exemption pursuant to Art. 113(1) and (9) of the Polish VAT Act (zwolnienie podmiotowe z VAT). Upon payment, an electronic invoice without VAT (faktura bez VAT) is issued.

By booking a rental slot, the Renter declares that they have carefully read and unconditionally accept these Rules.

The Renter may cancel or reschedule the booking free of charge up to 48 hours prior to the booked start time. In such case, the paid amount is refunded in full (100%) or credited toward a new date.

The Lessor permits a one-time rescheduling, provided the new rental date falls within 21 calendar days of the original booking date.

In the event of cancellation less than 48 hours before the start time or a no-show without prior notice, the fee is non-refundable and serves as fixed compensation for the reserved studio slot.

The Studio reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control (such as technical or premises emergencies). In such an event, the Renter is entitled to an immediate 100% refund or the selection of a new date.

The Studio offers subscription passes (hour packages) for 10, 15, or 20 studio hours at a promotional, fixed gross price.

A pass can be purchased via the form on the Studio website or directly with the administrator. Upon receipt of 100% payment, the pass is activated and the client receives a confirmation email containing a unique personal pass code in the format PASS-XXXX-YYYY.

Every pass is valid for exactly 1 calendar year (12 months) from the date of purchase and activation. Upon expiration, any remaining unused hours lapse with no right to a cash refund or extension.

The pass covers 100% of the base hourly studio space rental (including photo zones and standard studio lighting gear). Additional paid services — such as studio assistant services (+50 PLN/hour), resident photographer services (+300 PLN/hour), special rental gear, props, and surcharges for crews exceeding 7 persons (20 PLN/hour for each additional person) — are not covered by the pass and are billed separately in accordance with the Studio price list.

Hours included in a pass may be redeemed across multiple separate sessions during the validity period. The minimum duration of a single booking is 1 hour (60 minutes), with a 1-hour booking step. To redeem hours, the client enters their pass code into the promo code field in the online booking form on the website.

Passes are personal and tied to the buyer’s phone number and email address. Transferring a pass to third parties requires prior written approval from Studio management.

Bookings made using a pass are subject to standard cancellation and rescheduling rules: if a booking is cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time, redeemed hours are automatically refunded back to the pass balance. In the event of cancellation less than 48 hours prior or a no-show, the booked hours are deemed used (serving as compensation for reserved studio time) and are not restored to the pass.

In accordance with consumer rights regulations, a consumer client has the right to withdraw from the pass purchase contract within 14 calendar days of purchase, provided that no hours from the pass have been used yet. Once pass usage has begun (at least one booking has been made), the right of withdrawal is forfeit and fees are non-refundable.

Rental time starts at the hour specified in the booking confirmation and includes setup, shoot, and cleanup. The Renter must vacate the studio 5 minutes before the end of the booked hour to allow ventilation and preparation for the next client.

Late arrival or early departure by the Renter does not constitute grounds for a price reduction or refund.

Extending rental time is possible only if it does not conflict with subsequent bookings, and is billed according to the hourly rate for each started hour.

The Studio is open daily from 08:00 to 22:00. Rentals outside these hours require prior individual arrangement.

The Renter is required to use the space in accordance with its intended purpose, fire safety regulations, and without disturbing other occupants of the building.

The base rental price includes simultaneous attendance of up to 7 persons. Each additional person incurs an extra charge of 20 PLN gross/hour. Crews exceeding 7 persons must be declared in advance during booking.

Wearing clean indoor change shoes or staying in socks is strictly mandatory. Outdoor street footwear is strictly prohibited, especially on paper backdrops and delicate surfaces.

Interfering with electrical wiring, wall/ceiling fixings, and moving heavy stationary lighting equipment requires the prior explicit consent of studio staff.

If the production requires messy or hard-to-clean decorations (e.g. confetti, artificial snow, feathers, glitter, powders), the Renter is charged a flat specialized cleaning fee of 100 PLN gross.

Lighting gear and props are provided solely for use inside the Studio premises and cannot be removed from the location.

Studio equipment must be used with due care in accordance with manufacturer guidelines; any doubts must be promptly reported to staff.

The Renter is required to inspect equipment before the session starts. Failure to report issues is deemed confirmation of receiving complete and functional equipment.

Studio strobes and light modifiers may only be operated by individuals with appropriate experience. Upon request, staff provides a brief complimentary introductory briefing before the shoot.

Additional paid gear and special props are provided when selected during booking, subject to availability.

Assistant services (+50 PLN gross/hr) and resident photographer services (+300 PLN gross/hr) are booked via the reservation form. The photographer service includes the shoot, image selection, 30+ curated shots with basic color correction, and 10 professionally retouched photographs per hour of booking. Delivered photos are provided via an online gallery within 10–14 business days (download link active for 30 calendar days). Cancellation or rescheduling of photography services is subject to the standard 48-hour studio policy.

Following the session, the Renter must return the space in its original state: return props to their designated places and remove all personal waste and production materials.

The Renter bears full financial liability for damage caused to premises, equipment, and props by themselves, crew members, guests, or accompanying animals.

Soiling, tearing, or damaging seamless paper backdrops is billed at 50 PLN gross per linear meter of damaged roll.

For the safety of guests and asset protection, CCTV video surveillance operates in common studio areas.

Strictly prohibited in the Studio: open flame, fireworks, colored smoke, oils, flour, uncontained powders, body glitter; smoking (including e-cigarettes, vapes, and IQOS/glo devices); alcohol consumption and illegal substances; food/drinks in shooting zones; wild animals.

Pornographic shoots are strictly forbidden. For nude/art-nude photoshoots, all posing models must present valid government ID confirming they are 18+ years of age.

Driving nails, screws, or fixings into walls/floors, or applying strong-smelling chemical compounds, is prohibited.

Pets are permitted only upon prior agreement (clean, well-behaved, under continuous supervision).

Using a smoke/haze machine is permitted exclusively if declared in advance during booking.

The Studio reserves the right to refuse admission or immediately terminate rental for individuals intoxicated or under the influence of substances, with no refund.

Producing content that violates third-party rights or criminal law is strictly prohibited.

The Renter must be an adult aged 18 or older with full legal capacity.

Minors may only be present in the Studio under the continuous direct supervision of their parents or legal guardians, who bear full responsibility for their safety and conduct.

All intellectual property and copyrights to photos and recordings made by the Renter in the Studio belong 100% exclusively to the Renter. The Studio claims no ownership or rights over created materials.

The Studio may request permission to use select shots or backstage footage for promotional purposes in portfolios or social media. Such publication occurs only upon explicit prior consent of the Renter and models.

The Renter is solely responsible for securing all necessary model releases and consent from all participants in the session.

The Studio is not liable for valuables, equipment, or personal belongings left unattended on premises or after rental concludes.

The Studio functions as a photography space and does not guarantee acoustic soundproofing required for clean audio dialogue recording during video production.

Any complaints regarding rental services must be submitted electronically to info@goldys.pl within 14 calendar days of the rental date.

The Studio reviews complaints and responds within 14 calendar days in the same written electronic form.

Personal data of the Renter and session participants is processed in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Polish data protection law.

Data is processed for the conclusion and performance of the rental contract, payment handling, statutory accounting, and legitimate legal interests. Full details are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Matters not covered by these Rules are governed by the applicable provisions of the Polish Civil Code (Kodeks Cywilny) and Polish law.

The Studio reserves the right to update these Rules. Bookings confirmed prior to amendments remain governed by the version in force at the time of confirmation.

These Rules enter into force on 1 October 2026.
